In years past, sedans were a popular choice for family vehicles. Wagons can generally hold more gear or groceries than their typically smaller rivals.

SUV and Crossover

Sport utility vehicles and crossovers share a similar purpose and style, and they’re available in a wide range of sizes, with some models capable of accommodating as many as nine passengers. SUVs are more rugged than crossovers, but both body styles offer an elevated driving position and increased ground clearance compared to cars. Crossovers like the Kia Sorento and SUVs like the Toyota Land Cruiser are excellent choices for families.

Minivans

Despite their names, minivans are far from being “mini.” Vans are fantastic people and cargo movers, with many rated to tow a considerable amount of weight. The Honda Odyssey is a versatile choice in this category.
